GP Diamond 2.0 - Singapore

Developed a new app platform (Diamond 2.0) for a supply chain solutions provider. The Diamond 2.0 app is a data application based on Diamond 1.0 app which was developed before

As a data engineer, developed data transformation functions for Diamond 2.0 using DBT (Data Build Tool) & Synapse dedicated SQL pool (SQL DWH) to replace .NET functions and its on premise relational database. Leveraged multi-parallel analytics workflows in DBT to replace traditional, cursor-based T-SQL stored procedures, resulting in 72% performance improvement in ETL time while achieving more accurate results. As a SQL Performance Tuning engineer, identified and remediated application design flaws that hindered query execution, thereby enhancing the performance of stored procedures called from front-end APIs. Created and documented dynamic stored procedures for data reconciliation tests across more than 50 reporting tables.

This project was a wide-range project which was designed to help the Client transition to Azure cloud platform.

Data Migration: As a Data Engineer, migrated the data from the Client's business systems (Salesforce CRM, Oracle Fusion ERP, Call Center, SharePoint,...) to Azure SQL Datawarehouse (Synapse). Report Migration: As a Bl engineer, created functional and management reports for Finance, HR, and Supply Chain departments in Synapse using T-SQL.

e-Wallet

This is a Networking application from Starhub Company which mainly focused on managing user's data.

Developed reports to analyze user and merchants transactions data, identifying abnormal trends using Google BigQuery. Oversaw periodic user classification reports based on user identities, transactions, and performance metrics using Google Data Studio. Conducted risk assessment/consultancy for company-wide projects including existing and upcoming products and microservices to identify potential system control weaknesses that could have adverse consequences to the business such as promotion abuse, service disruptions. Gathered input from stakeholders across business units to define Al-driven policies to orchestrate day-to-day operations. Proposed in-depth risk management policies to counter users' inappropriate behaviors on MoMo apps. Updated and monitored control measures to increase the coverage rate of Risk Engine with low impact on normal users, which helped to reduce the fraud/inappropriate behaviors rate by 65%.

The project performed fraud risk assessments for the client's local branches and developed an automated dashboard solution to improve progress reporting. The ultimate goal was to reduce report refresh times and save time compared to the previous update process.

Conducted fraud risk assessment projects for the local branches of a leading car manufacturer in the world. Successfully developed dashboard solutions for automated progress reports using Azure SQL Database combined with Power BI, resulting in 88% refresh time reduction (from 40 minutes to 5 minutes) and saving two hours per day compared to the previous update process.

ERM

The project conducted a comprehensive assessment of the company's current enterprise risk management (ERM) system, proposed a new ERM system (Archer GRC), and assessed the readiness of the new ERM system.

Performed enterprise risk assessment for a leading dairy company in Vietnam and produced a 40- page report which included the current state assessments of the existing ERM initiatives, the consultation of the new ERM system (Archer GRC), and the ERM system readiness assessment. The findings were incorporated into the client's ERM strategy which was projected to save $1.0 million in the next 5 years.
