The client initiated a comprehensive program focused on digital transformation, migrating their on-premises applications to the Azure Cloud. As a leader in the renewable energy sector, the client aimed to enhance their operations with applications designed to manage and analyze wind turbine signal data.
- Serve as the liaison between clients, including Users, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and the development team.
- Evaluate on-premises web applications developed in diverse technology stacks to prepare for their migration to Azure PaaS services.
- Support the development of new applications by creating Proof of Concept (PoC) and reviewing and designing architecture.
- Migrate essential business data from on-premises SQL Server to the new Data Platform utilizing Azure Data Lake Storage Gen 1.
- Implement a hybrid identity solution that synchronizes local Active Directory (AD) users with Azure Active Directory.
- Design and develop scalable ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) packages using Azure Data Factory.
- Design and configure Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines on Azure DevOps.
- Assist the development team in overcoming technological challenges, including database tuning, technical training, and problem troubleshooting.
