Sales Portal – Web-based Portal for Insurance Agents
This user-friendly website serves as a portal for sales agents of a prominent life insurance company, facilitating seamless interaction with prospects, quotations, eapplications, underwriting, and claims throughout pre-sale, sale, and post-sale
processes. The site ensures smooth integration with both SAP and eBao cores, encompassing premium and benefit calculations, account value management, policy data storage, and efficient handling of claim requests and refund processes. Multiple layers of databases and services are intricately integrated to maintain alignment with current insurance products, riders, evolving legal and compliance requirements, and applications of emerging technologies such as OCR, EKYC, and VoiceGate.
- Gather business requirements from key stakeholders including Actuaries, Underwriters, Agent Managers, Legal, and IT Architects of other platforms, then devise optimal solutions to serve diverse needs of all parties involved.
- Lead the team of 3-5 other BAs to analyse workloads, ensure the balance between efforts and timelines to meet the expectations of Business Users.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of business requirements and deliver comprehensive documentations including BRD, SRS, Sequence diagrams, API specifications, etc. on Confluence
- Collaborate with UI designers to conceptualize website screens and PDF generation, develop detailed prototypes to showcase to stakeholders.
- Transfer detailed requirements and further emphasise or elaborate complex logics to development team for the best understanding and execution.
- Leverage Jira to optimally manage and align tasks among development team members in an Agile framework.
