CPQ SOLUTION FOR POWER GENERATORS DISTRIBUTOR
The project aim is to apply Salesforce CPQ to have a better sales process from opportunity to quote for a big company which distributes power generators. Power generators are complex bundle products which are made of a main engine and other parts. The CPQ solution must be able to integrate with their existing ERP system (Infor M3) for synchronization of the generator products, customers and customer orders in CPQ and in ERP. The implementation leverages the Bundle Product feature of SF CPQ to provide a better user experience on configuring the products during quote process.
- Implement a process from opportunity to quote for bundle products
- Implement engineering support request flow with approval when configuring bundle products in a quote
- Implement our customized pricing framework with mark up (from product cost) and discount (from list price) per product segment, account type, region, specific customer and/or specific product, etc.
- Develop templates for generating quotes
- Migrate products data from ERP to Salesforce with Dataloader.io
- Design and implement data creation/update from SF to Infor M3 regarding customer, product and customer order data using Infor M3 API, SF Named Credentials and External Services
- Propose solution, design and implement it
- Test solution on sandbox and deploy it to Prod
- Fix bugs and support users
- Migrate data from ERP to Salesforce before Prod launched
